Set your preferences for faster, easier shipping.

Customize your screens to ship the way you want.

Ever wish your shipping screen was set up with exactly what you need? Set the preferences in FedEx Ship Manager® at fedex.com and you control your shipping experience. You choose which sections are expanded, select what options are enabled, and fill in the default information you use most. It only takes a few minutes. But it can save you tons of time when preparing shipments.

Ready to begin? Find the preferences link.

Setting your preferences is the most important thing you can do to improve your shipping experience. But how do you get started? Just click the link in the upper right, over the Billing Details box.

Get addresses from Microsoft Outlook®.

One of the smartest features of the new shipping application is the ability to import addresses from your Microsoft Outlook contacts. Setting it up in your preferences is easy. Just click the checkboxes that say “Enable link to select addresses from Microsoft Outlook” in the To or From sections. Once you save your changes in Preferences, you‘ll see the link on your shipping screen.

Set up broker profiles for international shipments.

Are you an international shipper who uses a broker to handle customs? Just go to the Special Services section of your preferences screen and select the checkbox that says “Always use Broker Select option.” To set up default information for a broker profile, click the small plus sign next to the word option. Enter your broker’s information, save your changes and you’re ready to go.

Pickup or drop-off? The choice is yours.

Do you prefer to schedule a pickup for your shipment or drop it off at a FedEx location? If you set up your preferences, your shipping screen will always default to your usual routine. On the preferences screen, go to the Pickup/Drop-off and select the option that works best for your business.

Pick the service and the packaging you use most.

In your preferences, you can select the shipping service and packaging type you use most. After that, your shipping screen will always default to that type of shipment, so you don’t have to repeat steps.

Choose what you want to see on your shipping screen.

It’s your shipping screen, so set it up to show the information boxes you need. In your preferences you can choose the “Always show this section expanded” checkbox for all of the major sections of your shipping screen.
