FedEx Desktop actively monitors your important shipments. It resides on your desktop so you don't have to continuously go to fedex.com to view the latest status of your shipments. You can request notifications, add tracking numbers, drag and drop important shipments to your desktop, create watch lists, and view international shipments. With FedEx Desktop, it's easier than ever to track your shipments – from the convenience of your desktop.

Gain greater visibility.
From the main screen, you can quickly check the status of your U.S. and international shipments – from pickup, to varying stages of transit, to delivery. You can also click through to see full details on your shipment such as Shipment Facts, Shipment Travel History and Shipment References. Plus, you can create watch lists for your most important shipments too.
Add tracking numbers.
From the main screen, you can add tracking numbers for shipments you'd like to watch. It's as simple as that. FedEx Desktop remembers and updates shipment information until delivered. Plus, any shipments you sent using FedEx Ship Manager® at fedex.com will automatically be added to your FedEx Desktop. Once you've added tracking numbers, you can even create nicknames for easy reference.
Receive notifications.
With FedEx Desktop notifications, a small messaging box will notify you when shipments are delivered or when selected exceptions occurred. You can view more details on your shipment by clicking the message. Need to keep your end customer informed? Click on the notification tab from the detail screen and request e-mail notifications of tracking results, exception updates and delivery updates, helping you minimize customer service calls.
Drag and drop shipments.
Have an important shipment you'd like to watch, but don't want to be bogged down by details of other shipments? Simply drag the individual shipment from the main screen onto your desktop. You can then minimize the main screen, while still keeping tabs on our selected shipments.
