Indian culture

Bollywood – is the informal name given to the popular Mumbai-based film industry in India. Westerners would tend to classify most Bollywood films as musicals, because few films are made without at least one song-and-dance routine. At one time, Indian banks and financial institutions were forbidden from lending money to movie studios. However, this ban has now been lifted.

Cricket – The British brought cricket to India in the early 1700s, with the first cricket match being played in 1721. The national sport is actually field hockey, but cricket is the most popular sport in India. India won the Cricket World Cup in 1983.

Ineeka Tea – Ineeka is a socially and environmentally responsible producer of 100% organic whole leaf teas and herbs cultivated on its own family farms and partner communities worldwide. Ineeka is about experiencing the purity of the earth and the commitment of our family - the 25,000 people who live on our farms stretching from India's pristine Himalayas to the fertile Delta plains.

"FedEx is a critical partner to Ineeka's vision of connecting ecosystems by linking farmers to markets while maintaining the freshness and organic integrity of these precious whole-leaf teas and herbs. FedEx manages the entire supply chain - from Ineeka's family farms to our packaging and warehousing facility in Chicago - and then brings our award-winning products to customer doorsteps all over the United States and the rest of the world." – Shashank Goel, Founder, Ineeka Tea, Inc.
